Cannot compile Qemu 0.11.0 RC2 under MinGW32 on Vista

I keep getting this error

/c/qemu-0.11.0-rc2/pc-bios/optionrom/signrom.sh: line 32 : * 512 - 1 : syntax error: operand expected (error token is "* 512 - 1")
make[1]: *** [multiboot.bin] error 1

I can't figure out what is wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I am just using the latest MinGW release with the latest MSYS.

ok I got it compiled, but it cannot detect KQEMU. I have the service start but when i go to the qemu console and type 'info kqemu', it comes back with 'kqemu support:disabled'

Any suggestions? I compiled with KQEMU support. I am running Vista Premium SP2.

Try installing kqemu from administrator command prompt, net start kqemu and see if there are any error messages.

My qemu 0.10.6 cannot compile with kqemu support yet (under windows)
I use ./configure --target-list=arm-softmmu --static, and it report kqemu "yes"
But when I run the qemu-system-arm.exe with "-kernel-kqemu" or "-no-kqemu",
It report a invalid option

By the way, without this "-kernel-kqemu" or "-no-kqemu", the qemu-system.arm.exe run good,
but "info kqemu" from monitor report that kqemu disabled

how to get the kqemu work? on windows for arm-softmmu?

I installed the kqemu.inf and kqemu.sys
and have "net start kqemu" already

same question.. others version of precompiled qemu ( for example Zfeet's versions ). works with KQEMU on your pc ( your architecture are 32 bit? ) ?
on my win7, zfeet 0.10.6 and 0.11 rc0 ( i'd like to try eventually the RC2 from zfeet ) works fine with kqemu ...

if your system il 32 bit, try to disable vista's "User Account Protection" ...
